Pequot Lakes, Minnesota

Pequot Lakes, Minnesota

Pequot Lakes—in the Northern region of the Brainerd Lakes Area—is classic small town U.S.A. Where “Minnesota Nice” is more than a catchy saying, it’s a way of life. Where you feel no pressure to meet deadlines and demands. It’s a place to reconnect with family and friends and step back to a simpler time. Surrounded by pristine lakes, world-class golf, towering pines, and quaint restaurants and shopping, Pequot Lakes is one of the most picturesque cities in Minnesota. And no matter when you visit, you’ll find activities and folklore. Legend has it that Paul Bunyan rested his bobber on the Pequot Lakes water tower and would keep an eye on it while he rested in his oversized chair. And the Paul Bunyan Trail is as long as the tall tales and runs from Brainerd to Bemidji with a stop right in downtown Pequot Lakes. Meander through Breezy Point, Jenkins, and around the Whitefish chain on the Paul Bunyan Scenic Byway—a nationally recognized route with 54 miles of paved, wide-shouldered roads. Come for a visit and you’ll fall in love with the spirit of this area.

Join us On February 10, for our modified Bobber Bocce on Ice event! Due to the upcoming rain, lack of snow, and lower ice measurements, and the concern for player and spectator safety, we have decided to make a few changes for 2024. Slightly different setup, same amount of FUN!
